BeaTles… Thank you

Opening my pc in the morning
Trying for the first time the google earth and very impressed of it
Feels like I’m traveling around the world from my desk

Then I open my winamp
Select my beatles collection

I haven’t heard it intensely since my years in college

my winamp starts out with the Here Comes the Sun

My God
It really is make my day
Feels like John himself is playing his guitar for me
And wake me up and tell me that sun has come

Thanks to my housemate back in bandung
I know this song by heart
She often played this song early in the morning
And I usually awake from my sweet dream at very first her twinkling guitar playing and then the words begin

Here comes the sun, here comes the sun,
and I say it's all right

Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
and I say it's all right

Little darling, the smile's returning to the faces
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
and I say it's all right

Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...

Little darling, I feel that ice is slowly melting
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been clear
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun,
and I say it's all right
It's all right

John, Paul, George, Ringo
From the very bottom of my heart
Thank you :)

Blogpaganda: when honesty is not the best policy

The term just coincidentally occurred in my head recently. On this posting, I am referring the term to a personal/journal blog.

According to wikipedia, Propaganda is a specific type of message presentation aimed at serving an agenda. And the aim of propaganda is to influence people's opinions actively, rather than to merely communicate the facts about something.

Yup, similar to above definition, my own definition of blogpaganda also kind of choosy action in communicating (posting) the facts and actively try influence the reader.

The blog owner, apparently aware of the blog power and have quite knowledge on the viewer personality. By having and managing the content, the owner believe that the blog have become an effective tool to influence blog readers.

I used to believe that blog is the most human and sincere virtual space exists in the world wide world. Yup, you may call me naïve

I know my friend comprehensively by reading her blog while she was away in UK, rather than from times we spent together.

Sincere, honest and personal, are my first perception of a blog.

And I am seeing it differently now…………….

Now I notice that not all people have the courage to wholeheartedly express the thoughts and publish it on their blog, I am among those kind of bloggers. Some bloggers are going beyond that, their manipulating the readers by providing manipulative posting to the readers.

A controlled, good, sympathetic and nice posting will usually convey positive message to the reader. The writer will be seen as a good, positive individual and human being as it is expressed from the postings.

You have to be very careful, should an expressive, erupting emotions and honest thoughts playing inside your head about to be published in your blog. It might lead your readers seeing you differently. It might lead you to being judged to a person you are not. Yes, you can do that with a posting or two.

This world wide web apparently is not wide enough. Some strangers might continuously watch over you (your blog).

So, let’s do a blogpaganda, it is much safer. Little hypocrisy could be a best policy in this blog world.

Gee…… sucks !

Asia, hope for pluralism movement

Some years ago, American scholar Samuel Huntington predicted a clash of civilizations along religious lines. Even with the growth of religiosity, in Asia that clash is yet to come to pass. Anger over the publication ofcartoons depicting the prophet Mohammed in a Danish newspaper has been deeply felt in Asia's Muslim communities - but the anger was directed atirreverent Europeans, not local Christians.

In much of Asia, strong traditions of pluralism and accommodation have allowed Islam and Christianity to blossom side by side. Governments in Malaysia and Indonesia are promoting inter-faith dialogue to help shore upthese traditions. Even nominally atheist China has recently loosened up onits hordes of Christian devotees. As Christianity takes deeper root in Asia,it is just as likely to spread without fear and resentment: a vibrant collage rather than clash of civilizations.

The title of the article is not the shown above title. my own title is merely my own perspective on the content of the article.

The article is showing a great hope for me personally as part of Asian society. Asia should be followed by the western, when it comes to pluralism movement. It is the center of the idea. Hei, we are the place of birth of all religions exist in the world. We, the Asian, are doing it by heart to live in a pluralistic pattern.

Dare not to claim that we are the superior of pluralism movement, dare not to launch a massive PR campaign that we are trying very hard to avoid Samuel Huntington theory from happening.

We simply doing it by heart, so help us God.

Mentan VS Menkes on Avian Flu

TEMPO Interaktif, Jakarta:

i vote for Mr. Anton....... why?
a. I don't trust Siti Fadila
u don't have to wait until there's a case from human to human spread out
to claim Indonesia in avian flu emergency status. it seems that stupidity is her best policy
b. more effort shown from Anton's department rather than Siti (at least in the media)
c. Indonesia is second worst in avian flu spread out in the world (see below info)
