Suara Baru Indonesia — Pesta Blogger 2007

Besok tanggal 27 Sep 07 ya rencana launchingnya
sebenarnya sih sebagai blogger amatiran, gue agak berharap banyak dari pakar-pakar blogger yang akan ngeramein acara diatas

Gue berharap, visi Citizen Journalismnya Budi Putra bisa mewabah banget di Indonesia.

Gue berharap tagline 'Suara Baru Indonesia' bisa benar-benar nyata menyaingi konglomerasi Media-media di Indonesia yang mayoritas dimiliki oleh 'the Bad Guys of Indonesia"

Gue berharap Pesta Blogger ini bisa menstimulan Pesta Orang Biasa Beropini dan Bersuara menyongsong pesta rakyat 2009 mendatang.

Gue berharap akan lebih banyak Good Guys Indonesia di bidang politik, ekonomi, budaya yang nge-blog. Sehingga kita punya referensi baru, ga cuma baca komentar kutipan bad guys yang punya saham di koran itu juga.

Gue berharap akan banyak bermunculan blog-blog watchdog yang akan jadi batu sandungan bagi para koruptor, penguasa kotor dan legislator error di Indonesia.

Moga-moga endorsement Depkominfo seperti yg tertera di blog pesta blogger, tidak membuat Menkominfo punya hak untuk mengintervensi isi posting blogger-blogger Indonesia. Seperti sikap preman dia sekarang mengintervensi Astro untuk memberikan hak siar Liga Inggris ke TV-TV lainnya.

Waduh.. baru sadar gue
jadi blogger dibawah Depkominfo ya
duuuh, di Pesta ini ga undang menterinya jadi keynote kan?
Kenapa sih musti ada endorsement Public Official?
Apa blogger Indonesia masih ga PD, sehingga harus ada pejabat utk dapat liputan media traditional?

Ga usah kan?
kan publikasinya bisa dibantu blogger-blogger lainnya
ga step backward nih?
Atau gue terlalu curiga-an hehehehe

anyway selamat berpesta ya besok.
moga-moga salah satu harapan gue ada yg terkabul.

apaan sih Flixster?

Berhubung gue lagi cuti melahirkan, jadi akses gue ke dunia maya agak terhambat :)

1. Terhambat waktu, karena waktu lebih tercurah ke Bagas.
   
2. Terhambat pulsa, karena diburu2 sama meteran pulsa per detik yang gue (laki gue) harus bayar ke Telkom via Telkomnet.
   
3. Terhambat ide, karena akses ide gue yang biasanya ada di dunia maya ke block gara2 ga bisa seenaknya browsing karena hambatan nomor 2
   
4. Terhambat Informasi: kurang informasi ini juga disebabkan hambatan nomer 2 huahahaha ..... emang semua ujung2nye duit !
   

nah, pas curi2 kesempatan cek2 email, lumayan banyak temen2 sampe bos kirim private message, isinya soal flixter ...

first test of google page creator

after testing google docs, and install Greasemonkey at firefox browser, I'm begining to fill up technocrati tags to my previous postings at blogspot. Then I look up my old post titled Google Oops... It was about the Google Page Creator. It was then still not working, that's why an Oops showed up.

Then I decide to give it a try again...

It works !

Testing Google Docs and Spreadsheet

Testing google Docs and Spreadsheets to upload the thoughts in my blog
Is it working?
We shall see in a minute

It's another free software from Google
It actually does not attract me that much since all the doc and spreadsheet softwares are already bundled in every PC

Well, it can probably eliminate the piracy problem in Indonesia since,
you don't have to buy microsoft applications office again to create ur documents and spreadsheets heheehheehe,
in your dream
no way..
it still requires internet connections and pirated applications are easier to get than having ourself a steady internet connection in Indonesia :)

Then why do I even bother to test it?
Because the this feature adv appears on my dashboard blog after I published my piece.
It says that we can publish our piece through it.



Then what's the difference with publishing directly on the blog provider?
I still think it's much easier posting directly from blog dashboard

There was a problem (com.google.blogger.api.UserMigratedExecption: the given blogger account has been migrated to a Goggle account on the Blogger Beta)

Probably that's the same reason why I could not upload from performancing anymore

Conclusion:
IT's not Working to upload your piece from Google Docs to BLogspot with Blogger Beta account

The transition to Blogger Beta really destroy all the short cuts in uploading!

Yahoo Beta VS Gmail

1. Scrapblog : Kayaknya blog girlie banget deh. fokus ke foto2...
2. Lagi2 duel Yahoo and Gmail :

Yahoo baru ngeluncurin Yahoo Beta
.. lebih canggih dari Yahoo biasa, yang menurut gue sekarang jauh lebih lelet (apa karena dah terlalu dimanjakan oleh Gmail?). Apalagi, dengan gangguan setiap mau kirim email, user harus verifikasi emailnya dulu utk mencegah email dikategorikan spam oleh calon penerima. buset.. hari gini.. cepetan dikit napa.

Terus ada liat Yahoo Mail Beta review.
Tampilan sih boleh.. mirip Microsoft outlook.
Seperti munculnya Gmail atau Gmail chat, tidak semua pengguna yahoo serentak mendapatkan fitur ini. kalau mau coba, ada step2nya nih (gue sih belum coba, soale dah lihat kesimpulan review di bagian akhir hehehehe)

  select, for example, Yahoo UK
• click Finished
• go to Yahoo Mail

sebelum coba2.. liat dulu hasil duel Gmail sama Yahoo kali ini dong ...

Overall, the new Yahoo Mail is much better than the last version, you can't see (too many) ads, but doesn't have many features included in GMail (label, fast reply, POP3, forwarding, automatic mail saving, attachment preview), but outperforms GMail with is Outlook-ish design.

Beta Yahoo rating: 7/10

GMail rating: 8/10 :)

Blogpaganda: when honesty is not the best policy

The term just coincidentally occurred in my head recently. On this posting, I am referring the term to a personal/journal blog.

According to wikipedia, Propaganda is a specific type of message presentation aimed at serving an agenda. And the aim of propaganda is to influence people's opinions actively, rather than to merely communicate the facts about something.

Yup, similar to above definition, my own definition of blogpaganda also kind of choosy action in communicating (posting) the facts and actively try influence the reader.

The blog owner, apparently aware of the blog power and have quite knowledge on the viewer personality. By having and managing the content, the owner believe that the blog have become an effective tool to influence blog readers.

I used to believe that blog is the most human and sincere virtual space exists in the world wide world. Yup, you may call me naïve

I know my friend comprehensively by reading her blog while she was away in UK, rather than from times we spent together.

Sincere, honest and personal, are my first perception of a blog.

And I am seeing it differently now…………….

Now I notice that not all people have the courage to wholeheartedly express the thoughts and publish it on their blog, I am among those kind of bloggers. Some bloggers are going beyond that, their manipulating the readers by providing manipulative posting to the readers.

A controlled, good, sympathetic and nice posting will usually convey positive message to the reader. The writer will be seen as a good, positive individual and human being as it is expressed from the postings.

You have to be very careful, should an expressive, erupting emotions and honest thoughts playing inside your head about to be published in your blog. It might lead your readers seeing you differently. It might lead you to being judged to a person you are not. Yes, you can do that with a posting or two.

This world wide web apparently is not wide enough. Some strangers might continuously watch over you (your blog).

So, let’s do a blogpaganda, it is much safer. Little hypocrisy could be a best policy in this blog world.
