Wanita Inggris itu sempat bikin kantor gue jumpalitan selama sebulan. As requested by The Body Shop Indonesia, kedatangan Anita di Jakarta pertama kalinya harus diisi dengan berbagai kegiatan selama 3 hari penuh yang bikin panitia ga boleh lengah barang semenit juga.
sepanjang Juli 2005 buat perencanaan dan design program, dari bentuk, jadwal, isi acara sampe pengisi acara. sepanjang agustus buat persiapan sampe detik-detik eksekusi. gila, sampe temen gue, gladi resik ngecek waktu perjalanan dari shangri la ke Hilton, dari Shang ke Plaza Senayan and Semanggi bolak balik di kemacetan jakarta. Semua jadwal dari kedatangan sang Anita dan keberangkatannya meninggalkan Jakarta ga boleh miss sedikitpun. Emang jagoan deh bos gue, doi tekun bgt ngutrak-ngutrik jadwal anita. Untung kliennya enak banget, jadi ga nambah2in pikiran, tapi sama-sama mikirin to have all the finest things.
the Programs and preparations
we think we have done our best to prepare all. From the one on one talkshow: Anita Roddick "Up Close and Personal" with Wimar Witoelar as the host [whoelse hahahaha the one and only superstar in the company], The Body Shop People Gathering [200 members of the body shop Indonesia ! the so called beauty chicks with carreer and principles.. taela ], and extensive media interview program during the whole three days and wrap up with the NGO Forum, forum for the so called idealistic people. Not just the event, all the permission letters for documentatino purposes are all taken care and ready in hand; from the airport and from the malls. All of these efforts are prepared to make the visit of Anita on Sept 7 to 9 in Indonesia worthed.
The Catastrophe
and then comes the breaking and shocking news on September 1, 2005. short sms could create all things to catastrophe.
SMS: "Anita Roddick is sick, she is not allowed by her doctors for long travelling. Therefore her trips to KL and Jakarta are cancelled"
